When the Vision Is Tested, the Purpose Grows Deeper

When the Vision Is Tested, the Purpose Grows Deeper

Hello. I’m Thana Jaberi, the Founder of Manama Montessori.

I want to share something close to my heart — not just about what I’ve built, but why I built it… and what I’ve learned along the way.

Manama Montessori was never meant to be just an institution. It is — and always will be — a center for transformation. A place where adults come to reconnect with purpose, to be reshaped, to learn how to truly see the child — and themselves — with new eyes.

Because when we prepare the adult, we prepare the world. That’s what I believe. That’s what this work is about.

It’s not about training people to “teach.” It’s about awakening guides — adults who embody peace, empathy, and presence. Adults who can walk into a room of children and become a calm center. Adults who carry a deep respect for life, and who help children unfold their potential in freedom and dignity.

That’s the mission. And like any true mission, the path hasn’t been easy.

There were moments when the vision felt fragile — not because it wasn’t strong, but because of what it was exposed to. Misaligned energies. Disconnected intentions. Structures that didn’t hold space for the soul of the work.

That’s when the words of my mentor, Coral Ruiz, came back to me:

“Sometimes what falls apart does so not because of its design, but because of what it was exposed to — people, intentions, energies that didn’t align with its core.”

That truth was painful, but necessary. And in that pain, I found clarity.

Coral reminded me that strength isn’t about being unbreakable — it’s about being open enough to learn, grounded enough to rebuild, and wise enough to protect the deeper purpose moving forward.

I now see that what we create with soul can’t be stolen. What we offer from integrity cannot be replicated. And what is built from love will always find its way forward.

“creating something original isn’t just about ideas, it’s about soul. Those who create carry a spark that copying can never replicate. They illuminate paths others can’t even imagine.”

So yes — I’ve had to let go. Of expectations. Of outcomes. Of what I thought this would look like.

But I haven’t let go of the vision. I’ve only deepened it.

Because every adult we prepare becomes a seed of peace. Every person we awaken has the power to uplift generations.

I’ve learned to trust my inner compass. I’ve leaned into the love of my family, the wisdom of my mentors, and the grace of God.

And I want you to know this:

Every experience is to be celebrated. Every challenge, every lesson, every shift — it’s all part of the becoming. And this is not the end of the journey. This is the next beginning.

Thank you for walking beside me — and for believing in what we can build together.
